Privacy Policy

The short version

• Flick Plus TV is free. You can watch without an account.
• We don't sell your data, show targeted ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.
• If you create an account, we keep only what's needed to sync your list and progress across devices.
• You can delete your account and its data at any time from My Stuff. See also our Terms of Service.

What we collect

Without an account: your watchlist and "continue watching" positions are saved only in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.

With a free account: your name, email address, a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself), and your watchlist and playback positions so they follow you between the website and TV apps.

TV sign-in: when you sign in on a Roku or Fire TV, we create a short one-time code and link it to your account. Codes expire within minutes; the TV then keeps a sign-in token on the device.

Technical data: like every website, our hosting servers process your IP address and basic request details (browser type, time) to deliver the service and keep it secure. Where our hosting provides an approximate country, we use it only to show titles licensed for your region; we don't store it.

How we use it

• To sign you in and sync your watchlist and progress.
• To show the right titles for your region and keep the service secure.
• We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to anyone.

Cookies and local storage

We use one essential sign-in cookie when you have an account (secure, not readable by scripts), and browser local storage for your guest watchlist and progress. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

Some titles play from YouTube and many from archive.org. When you play those, your device connects to them directly and their own privacy policies apply (YouTube may set its own cookies).

Sharing

We don't share or sell personal data. Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf only to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your profile, synced list, progress and TV sign-in codes immediately; TV apps signed in with it stop working.

Your choices and rights

You can use Flick Plus TV without an account, clear your browser's local storage at any time, and delete your account from My Stuff. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may also ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it — contact us at flickplustv@gmail.com.

Children

Flick Plus TV offers a Kids section with family-friendly titles that can be watched without an account. Accounts are intended for people aged 13 and over (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and sign-in cookies are protected from scripts. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
